"Kootenay Snowmobiling Heaven'

Over the years, the Nelson Sno-Goers has raised sufficient funds to finance the purchase of Trail Grooming equipment, the latest of which is our 1988 BR 400 groomer purchased from the Whitewater Ski Resort, which brings our fleet up to two! The Nelson Sno-Goers maintain approximately 200 kilometres of trails within our managed areas and groom approximately 100 kilometres of trail in the Six Mile-Crusader-Springer-Lemon Creek-Giveout Creek and Redfish Creek drainages. In addition, the club has built,  maintains and supports safety cabins in Crusader Creek, Meadow Mountain and Snowater. These cabins are complete with wood heat, First Aid gear and offer shelter to snowmobilers in bad weather or as a warm spot to have lunch. These cabins are open to all but non club members are asked to put a little something in the donation box to help defray maintenance costs.
As can be appreciated there are costs associated with providing these services, both monetary and numerous volunteer hours by club members. With this in mind  we wish to inform everyone using these trail systems that there is a $10.00 per day, per snowmobile, trail fee for trails within our managed areas. This trail fee is used solely to offset the cost of grooming/maintenance of our trails and it would be greatly appreciated if all users pay the fee to insure our continued opportunity to provide quality snowmobiling opportunities within our area.
Thank you. Nelson Sno-Goers.
